MOCA: Transmission LA

I loved the colorful pinwheel installation by Ara Peterson and Jim Drain.

A Coffee Bar/ light installation in the middle of the museum. Really awesome.

Transmission LA: AV Club was curated by Mike D from Beastie Boys. For those of you who haven't seen this inspiring exhibition at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, then I'd say you are truly missing out. I was really moved with all of the paintings, installations, audio and visual forms of art that were so neatly displayed here. This exhibitions runs until May 6.

Rodarte at LACMA

I finally had the chance to visit the Rodarte: Fra Angelico Collection at LACMA this weekend. This exhibition is absoultly beautiful. The Mulleavy sisters never fail to blow my mind away. I've been a big fan ever since I found out about them, while flipping through the glossy pages of Vogue magazine. Their first collection was introduced in 2005 and have since then been taking the fashion industry by storm. If you are in the Los Angeles and love fashion, you should check out this exhibition. It runs through February 5.
