Muse of the week: Georgina Chapman

I am huge admirer of Georgina Chapman. You might know her as the face of the fashion label Marchesa, but did you know that she started her career as a costume designer? Fascinating. She studied costume design at Wimbledon School of Art in London. She and her school partner Keren Craig, a fashion textile major, co-founded Marchesa in 2004.

The line was named after the eccentric Italian socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati. Marchesa's whimsical gowns are always the center of attention at red carpet/ gala events and you can be sure that who ever is wearing one of her dresses will more than likely land the best dressed list.

That's not all, Georgina Chapman also happens to be an actress, she has had roles in numerous films like Bride & PrejudiceMatch Point, and Factory Girl and to top it all off, she is also married to the king of Hollywood, the one and only Harvey Weinstein. Who said you can't have your cake and eat it too?
